In-Person Adult Counselling

Adult counseling is for individual 19+ and is designed to help individuals navigate through personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. Adult counseling is for individual 19+ and is designed to help individuals navigate through personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. We help adults to identify and address issues related to mental health, relationships, career, stress, trauma, identity, grief and other concerns that can negatively impact their quality of life.
Our counsellors incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, somatic, EMDR, and psychodynamic therapy, among others. The specific type of therapy used will depend on the individual's needs and preferences, as well as the counsellor's expertise and training.

Adult counseling is for individual 19+ and is designed to help individuals navigate through personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. We help adults to identify and address issues related to mental health, relationships, career, stress, trauma, identity, grief and other concerns that can negatively impact their quality of life.

Virtual Couples Counselling is provided through a secure video link allowing sessions to be completed from the comfort of your own home and with more flexible appointment options. Couples counselling helps couples improve their relationship and resolve conflicts. Our counsellors work with both partners to identify and address issues that may be causing stress, dissatisfaction, or conflict in the relationship. During couples counseling sessions, the counsellor will create a safe and non-judgmental environment where both partners can express their thoughts and feelings. The counsellor may use a variety of techniques and approaches, such as communication skills training, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional regulation techniques. The goals of couples counseling may include improving communication and intimacy, resolving conflicts and disagreements, increasing emotional connection and trust, and building a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

Victoria is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Victoria specializes in providing online counselling for teens, adults, and couples. She has a particular focus on working with LGBTQIA and neurodiverse clients and has experience helping individuals in these communities overcome a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, parenting issues, insomnia, and relationship conflicts. Victoria’s therapeutic approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, and narrative therapies. She believes in creating a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe and supported, and works collaboratively with clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Lindsey works with youth (12+) and adults both in-person and online in Invermere and Golden. With experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, she’s worked with survivors of domestic violence, homelessness, and in educational settings. Lindsey brings a warm, person-centred approach, fostering healing and resilience in her clients.
