FREE 20 min Consultation Appointments
These sessions offer an opportunity to meet with your counsellor, discuss your needs and goals, and learn more about our services. These sessions are provided virtually or by phone. You are welcome to book one of these consults if you have questions about any of our counselling services (child, youth, adult or couples counselling).
Please note, these sessions are not intended as a counselling appointment but allow you to meet your counsellor and determine if you two are a good fit.
In-Person Adult Counselling
Adult counseling is for individual 19+ and is designed to help individuals navigate through personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. We help adults to identify and address issues related to mental health, relationships, career, stress, trauma, identity, grief and other concerns that can negatively impact their quality of life.
Our counsellors incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, somatic, EMDR, and psychodynamic therapy, among others. The specific type of therapy used will depend on the individual's needs and preferences, as well as the counsellor's expertise and training.
Online Adult Counselling
Online Adult Counselling is provided through a secure video link allowing sessions to be completed from the comfort of your own home and with more flexible appointment options.
Adult counseling is for individual 19+ and is designed to help individuals navigate through personal, emotional, and psychological difficulties. Our counsellors use a variety of techniques and approaches that are specifically tailored to the teenager's age, developmental stage, and individual needs.

During youth counseling sessions, our counsellors work with the youth to identify and address issues such as anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, substance abuse, self-esteem, peer pressure, academic stress, and family conflict. In-Person Child Counselling (6- 12 years)
Child counselling is designed to help children (6-12 years) who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or developmental difficulties. This type of counseling is typically focused on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, social difficulties, and academic struggles, among others.
Our counsellors work with the child to create a safe and supportive environment where they can express their thoughts and feelings. The counsellor may use a variety of techniques and approaches that are specifically tailored to the child's age, developmental stage, and individual needs.
In-Person Couples/ Family Counselling
Couples counselling helps couples improve their relationship and resolve conflicts. Our counsellors work with both partners to identify and address issues that may be causing stress, dissatisfaction, or conflict in the relationship. During couples counseling sessions, the counsellor will create a safe and non-judgmental environment where both partners can express their thoughts and feelings. The counsellor may use a variety of techniques and approaches, such as communication skills training, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional regulation techniques. The goals of couples counseling may include improving communication and intimacy, resolving conflicts and disagreements, increasing emotional connection and trust, and building a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

These appointments are pre-arranged for the Youth Hub Counselling Contract. These sessions are offered online and in-person. For online sessions we are also able to provide a confidential office space to youth to use for their appointment.
Consulting
Our clinical consultation services offer counsellors a confidential space to discuss cases, explore therapeutic techniques, and address challenges in their EMDR or general clinical practice. Consultations provide personalized support tailored to counsellors' needs, whether seeking feedback on cases, developing new skills, or navigating ethical dilemmas. Available in individual or group formats, our consultations empower counsellors to enhance their clinical effectiveness and professional growth.
