EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR is available for adults 19+ and supports people navigating trauma, anxiety, PTSD, grief, adverse life experiences, and other concerns that may continue to impact emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning.

Rather than focusing primarily on talk therapy, EMDR helps the brain reprocess unresolved memories so they become less emotionally charged and easier to integrate. Our counsellors offer both EMDR preparation sessions and reprocessing sessions, moving at a pace that feels safe, collaborative, and supportive. The approach and structure of EMDR therapy are always tailored to the individual’s needs, readiness, and goals, within the counsellor’s scope of training and expertise.
